Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/24/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Every other weekend required with holidays as needed • Patient ratio of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends • 24 hours of orientation provided • Floating required as needed to any campus • Minimum 2 years of experience required (first time travelers acceptable) • Cardiac telemetry experience required • EPIC charting system experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • Must pass mandatory EKG exam (2 attempts allowed) • Focus on cardiac patients including congestive heart failure, rule-out myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, and arrhythmias • Secondary focus on respiratory problems such as COPD and pneumonia • Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including heart failure, respiratory failure, NSTEMI, COPD, and pneumonia • Skills required include PCU/stepdown experience, pre/post cardiac cath care, IV insulin protocols, titration of cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation • Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences • Compliance deadline is 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date • Local radius restriction of 50 miles Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 30-bed telemetry unit with a daily census of 30 patients, providing comprehensive cardiac and respiratory care services. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries.
