Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Cardiac RN Position Location Wilson, NC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 07:00-19:00 shifts, every other weekend required. Job Description We are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Cardiac care to join our telemetry unit. This role involves caring for generalized cardiac patients, including those experiencing chest pain, A-fib, and congestive heart failure. Duties will include pre and post-care for cardiac catherization and VATS procedures. Responsibilities - Monitor and assess cardiac patients' conditions. - Administer medications and therapies as prescribed. - Educate patients and families on cardiac care. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care. - Occasional floating to IMCU, NPCU, and surgical units may be required. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a cardiac setting. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. - Proficiency in Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment preferred. - Cerner EHR experience is mandatory.
