Registered Nurse (RN) | Hospice Location: Fayetteville, NC Agency: ATC Healthcare Services Pay: $58 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position Registered Nurse (RN) – Hospice Location: Fayetteville, NC Job Type: Contract Shifts Available: M-F, 8a-5p, no call. Pay Rate: $2317 gross per week (includes $1344 travel stipend if applicable) Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact on patients and families during some of life’s most critical moments? Our client is seeking an experienced RN to provide exceptional hospice care in a home setting. Your dedication will ensure comfort, dignity, and quality of life for individuals facing terminal illnesses. Job Description: The RN will provide comprehensive hospice care to patients with terminal illnesses in their home setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications, managing symptoms, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team (IDG) to implement the plan of care. The nurse will provide direct hands-on care, ensure continuity of treatment, and support families through education and emotional care. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide nursing services per plan of care and hospice standards Coordinate with physicians and IDG team Educate and support patients and caregivers Administer medications and manage symptoms Maintain accurate clinical documentation Participate in quality improvement activities Supervise care provided by LPNs and Hospice Aides Participate in on-call duties as needed Travel to patient homes within assigned zip codes Job Requirements: Current Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or valid compact/multi-state license Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in acute care, home care, or hospice inpatient unit BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) Graduate of an accredited nursing school Valid NC driver’s license with clean driving record Must have own transportation for home visits Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently in the field Must be comfortable with physically demanding tasks (frequent lifting, crouching, etc.) and exposure to varying patient environments Our Culture There are a few things we look for across all hires at ATC, regardless of role or team.
