We are seeking skilled Physician Assistants in Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine, as well as Nurse Practitioners specializing in urgent care, to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced, supportive environment. This role offers the chance to work independently, manage a diverse patient base, and develop valuable clinical expertise. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up) in urgent care settings. Perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigation. Use Epic EMR for comprehensive documentation and patient care management. Work autonomously as the sole provider on site, supported by a dedicated team including center managers, medical assistants, and supervising physicians. Ensure compliance with certification requirements and maintain proficiency in required procedures. Required Skills: Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in urgent care or emergency medicine. Current certification: Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), or equivalent. Valid BLS certification. Demonstrated proficiency with Epic EMR. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and support staff. Ability to see and treat all patients independently. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with pediatrics in urgent care. Additional certifications in advanced procedures or specialties. Familiarity with other EMR systems. Preferred Education and Experience: Graduate from an accredited PA or NP program. Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or outpatient settings. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Other Requirements: Must be within a 65-mile radius of Fayetteville, NC. Ability to work flexible shifts as per the facility’s schedule. No travel reimbursement provided; travel and mileage reimbursements available. Willingness to undertake EMR training and onboarding prior to first shift.
