Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Salisbury, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,106 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Medical Oncology Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Clinic Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 Years Required License: NC State License Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: MUST Bring your own Stethoscope Experience in outpatient oncology Chemotherapy skills including recognition and communication of abnormal lab values IV therapy/infusions skills including starting and maintaining IVs Professional knowledge in phlebotomy and telephone triage Description: This position is for a clinic Registered Nurse in a medical oncology setting. The role includes performing phone triage from patients and managing triage through a patient portal. Responsibilities also include drawing blood by venipuncture or PORT-A-Cath. The nurse will chaperone breast exams in the clinic setting. The clinic is equipped with 16 exam rooms and 20 infusion rooms. Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics with a focus on hematology and oncology diagnoses. The nurse will need skills in care coordination and managing oncologic emergencies such as extravasation injury. Additional competencies required include symptom management for conditions like nausea, vomiting, and constipation. Experience with charting systems, especially Epic, is preferred.
