Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,913 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28203! Job Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MedSurg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in Med/Tele or Emergency Department for Resource Team License: Required nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; PALS and CPI preferred for ED RN Must-Have: Trauma experience, Stroke experience, Cardiac rhythm interpretation, Conscious sedation, PIV starts, Chest tube management, NGT placement, Drain/tube management, Critical care drips, Blood administration. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in MedSurg/Tele. The role primarily involves covering ED holds for Med/Tele patients. The facility is a Level I Trauma Teaching Hospital with 874 licensed beds. The expected patient types include trauma cases such as gunshot wounds, stabbings, motor vehicle accidents, and falls. Other common diagnoses include strokes, heart failure, chest pain, COPD, liver failure, and gastrointestinal disorders. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5, depending on patient acuity. Support within the department includes a range of medical personnel available 24/7, along with telemetry monitoring by nurses. Nurses will be required to float to other facilities as needed, within scope of practice. Weekend rotation includes working every other weekend. Travelers are expected to work 75% of designated holidays.
