Locum Tenens Urologist Opportunity in Virginia! Location: near
Lexington, VA Duration: July 1 October 1, 202524-Hour Call Coverage
No Support Staff High-Volume Facility Position Overview:We're
seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist for a locum
tenens assignment at a busy hospital in Virginia. This is a
high-impact role in a facility that plays a critical role in the
region's healthcare system, offering a dynamic clinical experience
in a fast-paced environment. Position Details: Type of Facility:
Hospital Schedule: 24-hour call coverage with shifts from 7 A.M. to
7 A.M. and 7 A.M. to 6:30 P.M. Patient Demographics: Adult On-Call
Requirement: Yes, with a 20-minute response time Support Staff:
None, independent practice required Charting System: EMR using eCW
and Meditech Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Urology Current State Medical License DEA and CSR certifications
BCLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications Minimum of 200 cases in the
last two years (case logs required) Role Highlights: Provide
comprehensive urological care, with a focus on general urology and
kidney stones Utilize advanced technology, including Da Vinci
robotics (3 XIs) Work in a facility serving as the main transfer
point for Southwest Virginia, supporting a Level II trauma program
Daily patient volume averages 28; this is an active, high-volume
hospital environment Engage in a variety of cases, ensuring a
dynamic and fulfilling work experience Contract Details: Duration:
4 months (July 1, 2025, to October 1, 2025) Competitive
