Aya Locums is seeking a board-certified Hematologist to provide locum services at an inpatient facility in North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a Hematologist looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed for 2 weeks per month and ongoing. Job Details: Case Types: Benign Hematology (Bread and Butter Hem/Onc),Follow-up and New Patient Consultations Setting: Ambulatory Hem/Onc Clinic, Inpatient Facility Schedule: 2 weeks per month Patient Volume: Minimum 15 hematology patients per day (no oncology patients) Support: Nurses, Navigator, Admin Support, Pharmacy, 1-2 Physicians, APPs, Infusion Specialist Responsibilities: See patients, write orders and prescriptions, communicate with pharmacy EMR System: Epic (assessment required before start date) Requirements: Board Certification in Hematology and/or Oncology (double board preferred, must be BC'd in Oncology if seeing oncology patients) Active NC Medical License DEA License BLS Certification Minimum 2-3 years of experience Why Join Us?
