Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/18/2025 - Duration: 16 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in both CT and X-Ray procedures with ARRT (CT and R) certification and at least 2 years of experience. Responsibilities - Outpatient and emergency department setting treating adult and pediatric patients - Perform a wide range of X-Ray studies including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging - Conduct CT exams such as abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CT angiographies, and multiplanar reconstructions - Perform cardiac CT including pulmonary vein and cardiac calcium score studies - Work Friday to Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (3x12 hour day shifts) - Occasional floating to other facilities or campuses as needed - Uses Siemens CT equipment, PACS, portable X-Ray units (Samsung preferred), and Epic EMR - First-time travelers are welcome for this assignment - Must complete unit-based modules during orientation (typically 2-4 hours) - Strict policy on tardiness and unexcused absences - Planned time off (RTO) must be declared before submission; RTO after submission is not accepted - Background check must show no open cases - Education must be verified and not from schools listed on the Diploma Fraud Florida Education Audit - Scrub/dress code details provided upon assignment - Team will include cross-department support, especially during floating assignments Requirements - Current ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (R) - BLS certification required - Minimum 2 years of CT and X-Ray experience - Outpatient and ED experience required - Experience with PACS, portable X-Ray units, Siemens CT equipment required, Samsung X-Ray preferred - Epic EMR experience required - Proficiency starting 8-9 IVs per day - Experience with infants and pediatric patients preferred - Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627791.
