Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT registration or eligibility and completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital-based MRI department - Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday - Primary duties include patient identification, MRI scanning, and image processing - Adult and pediatric patient population - Utilizes MRI scanners, PACS, IMPAX, and the Epic EMR system - IV and oral contrast administration as required by protocols - Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, proper identification, and accurate documentation - Duties involve administering contrast, verifying lab values, and completing image transmission - Maintain accurate billing and demographic data in accordance with hospital policy - Expected to precept new employees and students - Maintains a clean and orderly work environment Requirements - Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiologic Science - ARRT registration or ARRT registry eligibility required - Advanced MR certification is required within one year of employment - Current HCP BLS certification required - Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements annually - Ability to operate MRI equipment, inject contrast, and use PACS and EMR systems - License required if applicable Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627752.
