TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Med/Surg RN in Rocky Mount, Virginia, 24151! Pay

Must-Have: VA or compact license in hand preferred Description:
Acute Care RN - Med Surg/Tele Start date is preferred as soon as
possible. The assignment duration is 13 weeks with a night shift
schedule of 7 PM to 7 AM. The unit has 21 beds and serves an adult
patient population. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4-6:1 on days and
5-7:1 on nights. Common patient diagnoses include pneumonia, CHF,
COPD, AFIB, GI bleed, cellulitis, diverticulitis, and chest pain.
EPIC charting is used in this unit. IV pumps used include Alaris.
There is 24/7 hospitalist coverage available. Travelers are
required to work at least one holiday during the 13-week
assignment, with exceptions for winter holidays where two holidays
are required. Compliance documents are due prior to the start of
the assignment. Travelers residing within 100 miles of the facility
are considered local, and local candidates will not be accepted.
Travelers who have worked in the position previously must be away
for a minimum of one year before returning as travelers. A
separation policy is in place that limits assignments to a specific
timeframe. Modules may be completed within the first 24 hours of
the assignment and are non-billable if done in that time frame.
Modules can be completed either before the start date or during
orientation. Hours for modules vary based on specialty.
