Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Med/Surg RN in Rocky Mount, Virginia, 24151! Pay
Information $2,598 per week About The Position Job Title: Acute
Care RN - Med Surg/Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours
per Shift: 12 Experience: Travel experience required License:
Active license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required
Must-Have: VA or compact license in hand (highly preferred)
Description: ASAP start preferred. Three 12-hour night shifts
available, 7 PM to 7 AM. Alternative four 12-hour night shifts
available by request. The unit consists of 21 beds. The patient
population is adult. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4-6:1 on days
and 5-7:1 on nights. Common patient diagnoses include pneumonia,
CHF, COPD, AFIB, GI bleed, cellulitis, diverticulitis, and chest
pain. EPIC charting is utilized. IV Pumps used are Alaris. There is
24/7 Hospitalist coverage. Travelers are required to work at least
one holiday per 13-week assignment. During winter holidays,
travelers are required to work two holidays. Compliance documents
are due the Wednesday prior to the Monday start. Candidates
residing within a certain distance from the facility are considered
local and are not accepted. Please note: Additional eligibility
criteria may apply for local candidates based on distance. Return
travelers must have been gone for a minimum of one year before
returning to work. Separation policy may affect reapplication for
travelers. Modules are non-billable if completed within the first
24 hours of onboarding. Modules may be completed pre-start or
during onboarding, with varying hours based on specialty. Modules
are recorded by the facility report and paid upon approval.
