provided. This position is in a facility with 355 beds. The
facility includes multiple specialized centers including brain,
cancer, heart, lung, orthopedic, general, vascular, and surgical
services. There is an emergency department, inpatient
rehabilitation, and a surgical suite. The telemetry unit
accommodates various cardiac patients, ranging from young adults to
the elderly. The nurse will be required to care for generalized
cardiac patients. Patient ratios are 4:1. The unit is equipped with
Life Paks, Zoll, Masimo, and uses Cerner for electronic health
records. Common diagnoses and treatments include chest pain, atrial
fibrillation, congestive heart failure, and pre/post care for
cardiac catheterizations. The work environment is family-oriented.
Candidates may occasionally float to other units as needed. Scrubs
