Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 35 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Location: Ronceverte, WV 24970 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days – 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00) Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $1,930.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $684.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,246.00 Per Week Licensure & Compliance Requirements: License: WV or Compact RN License – pending accepted Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Mandatory: BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM Preferred: AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate Required Skills & Experience: Charge RN Experience: Required Minimum Experience: 1 year (2 preferred) Charting System: Cerner Teaching Hospital or Community Hospital Experience: Preferred Travel RN Experience Labor & Delivery Skills: Assist with vaginal deliveries & high-risk deliveries Recover C-sections Administer Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate Perform sterile vaginal exams Hemorrhage/Shock response Use of EFM and IUPC Neonatal Care: Neonatal Resuscitation & APGAR scoring Newborn assessments and hypoglycemia management Thermoregulation and phototherapy Discharge education and ID banding Postpartum Care: Fundus/lochia/perineum care Pain management including epidural assessments Wound assessment and C-section recovery Breastfeeding/lactation support Procedures & Equipment: IV therapy, phlebotomy Central/peripheral IV line management Infusion pumps and cardiac monitoring Rapid Response Team activation Use of radiant warmers, monitors, fetal electrodes Must reside 100 miles from facility About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
