Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:ED - Emergency Department - Discipline:RN - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, nights - Employment Type:Travel We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. Position Requirements: - Minimum Experience: 5 years of emergency nursing experience - Certifications (Required): - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - Handle with Care (available on-site) - NIH Stroke Certification - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) - EHR Systems: MedHost (ED) and Meditech experience preferred Role Overview: As an ED RN, you will be responsible for delivering expert clinical care to a diverse patient population, responding rapidly to urgent cases, and working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct triage, assessment, and care of patients in emergency situations - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed - Monitor patient condition and coordinate with the healthcare team - Document care and interventions accurately in MedHost and Meditech EHRs - Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory standards
