In addition to your base compensation, this position also offers: - $20,000 sign-on bonus eligibility for full-time, bedside RNs - $4 Shift differential (2ndshift & evenings), $1 shift differential (weekends) - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, plus flexible-spending and health- savings accounts - Competitive paid time off and extended illness bank package for full-time employees - Income-protection programs, such as life, accident, critical-injury insurance, short- and long-term disability, and identity theft coverage - Tuition reimbursement, loanassistance, and 401(k) matching - Employeeassistanceprogram including mental, physical, and financial wellness - Professional development and growth opportunities Position Summary: - Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing processin accordance withapplicable scope and standardsof practice. - Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical caretreatments. - Documents patient care given. - Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition asappropriate tocare team, physician, patient, and family. - Assistspatients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. - Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge,referraland spiritual/psychosocial support needs. - Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family andprovidespatient/family educationappropriate toage, culture, condition, and circumstances. - Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional wellbeing of the patient. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Registered Nurse from the Virginia Board of Nursing or compact Staterequired - Bachelor's degree preferred - Requires critical thinking skills, decisivejudgmentand the ability to work with minimal supervision.
