Overview: Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday Shift: 7:00am-4:00pm Novant Health is seeking an PRN Occupational Therapist to provide skilled occupational therapy services consistent with licensure as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. - Delivers care that is consistent with the occupational therapy practice act in the appropriate state and adheres to AOTA Code of Ethics. - Completes patient evaluations and treatments independently while maintaining patient safety. - Requires infrequent guidance/mentoring for complex or non-routine patients. - Appropriately seeks guidance and assistance when necessary. - Independently establishes / implements treatment goals and plans based on patient input and evaluation and assessment results. - Reassesses outcomes and modifies goals and plans to meet changing needs of the patient. Schedules patient activities according to patient individual needs. - Demonstrates technical competencies and job knowledge involving unusual or infrequent circumstances. - Appropriately delegates tasks to support personnel. Qualifications: - Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate from an accredited OT program. - Experience: One year preferred. - Licensure/Certification: Appropriate state OT license, required.
