3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) /nTotal weekly hours: 36 /n /n/n /n/n
/n/n RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be
worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could
possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR /n /nNO BLOCK SCHEDULING /nRuns
more like an ICU. Strong drip experience is a must /n /nREQUIRED
SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: /nMinimum Years of Experience: 2 yrs of
Experience Needed /nTraveler Experience: Accepts 1st time
travelers. /nLocals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes /nREQUIRED
Skills: must have experience with arterial lines and titrating
vasoactive drips, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, Interpretation
of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the
unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams, IV insulin protocols,
Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management,
Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin
Protocols, CVA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External
CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula,
Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management, Isolation
Precautions /nREQUIRED: ACLS, BCLS, NIH certifications, as well as,
experience with IV start, telemetry and conscious sedation. /n
/nJOB DETAILS: /nTarget Ratios: 3:1 or 4:1 /nUnit will accept
contracts for 13 weeks /n*36 or 48 Hours can be offered. If
Accepting 48 Hours, No OT will be billed until After 48 Hours /n12
HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15 /nRTO: 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer /nNO
BLOCK SCHEDULING /nFloat Requirement: Floating required as needed
to sister unit which is an ICCU also. /nWeekend Requirement:
Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. /n /nPATIENT DIAGNOSES:
ADC:18 with 20 Beds. ICU stepdown. Post rapid response team
patients, respiratory distress, unstable hemodynamics, withdrawal,
GI bleeds, post-op: GYN, GU, GI, thoracotomies, neuro, ortho
surgeries. Pre/post OB with complications (Pitocin). /nPatient age
from adolescent, adult, geriatric. /n /nSPECIAL PROCEDURES/UNIT
DETAILS: Only one pressor drip per patient, any more and they're
transferred to ICU. /nCardizem, Nitro, Precedex, Cardene, Levophed,
Dopamine, Dobutamine, Neo drips given on unit. /n /nSPECIAL
EQUIPMENT: Bedside telemetry monitors with remote backup. Nurses
must be able to recognize and treat dysrhythmias. A-lines, BIPAP's,
chest tubes, trach's, there are no vents on unit. /n /nUNIT
SYSTEMS: Pyxis and Epic /n /nSCHEDULING TYPE: NM creates schedule;
NO BLOCK SCHEDULING /n /nSCRUBS: Navy, White or a combination of
