Assist physicians and clinicians with patient care in a fast-paced
clinical environment • Escort patients to/from exam rooms,
treatment areas, and physician offices • Record patient data
including vital signs, height/weight, allergies, and medication
updates • Prepare and stock exam and treatment rooms; maintain
disinfection protocols • Assist with physical exams and procedures
as requested • Administer subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
under appropriate delegation • Answer patient phone calls, relay
messages to appropriate staff • Phone in prescriptions and
coordinate patient communication • Perform administrative duties
including chart prep, scheduling, typing, faxing, and filing •
Inform providers of reschedules or no-shows • May enter
provider-directed orders under supervision • Support efficient
patient flow and scheduling
