Job Description:
The PTA provides direct physical therapy care under the
supervision of a licensed PT, following all legal and
organizational standards. Must be a graduate of an accredited
program and licensed/licensed in the state, with at least one year
of post-acute care experience preferred. Responsibilities include
participating in community health projects, documenting patient
progress accurately, and maintaining confidentiality. Proficient in
Microsoft Word, Excel, and email; able to make independent
decisions and demonstrate good body mechanics. Essential duties
involve following treatment plans, assisting in evacuations,
providing excellent patient service, and collaborating with the
team. Requires dependable attendance, effective communication,
physical mobility, and adherence to policies and procedures.
