Visit friendship.us for more information.Friendship is looking for a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Richfield Assisted Living, located in Salem, VA. The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.Full Time LPN Sign On Bonus - $7,500 paid out equally over 30 pay periodsShifts Available: Tuesday, Thursday, and every other weekend - 12 hour shift: 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.Roles & Responsibilities: Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistant in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility to include monitoring POC documentation compliance Ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by this facility Complete corresponding electronic health records upon the residents admission, transfer, and/or discharge Perform routine charting duties as required and in accordance with established charting and documentation policies and procedures to include updating care plans Make appropriate reports to the Nurse Supervisor as required or as may be necessary. Follow facilitys established policy Consult with the residents physician in providing the residents care, treatment, rehabilitation, etc. as necessary Review the residents chart for specific treatments, medication orders, diets, etc. as necessaryQualifications: Unencumbered LPN license or eligible to sit for boards in the state of Virginia required Adult First Aid/CPR and AED preferred Experience in a long-term care/nursing facility preferred This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day.
