Job Summary:
Work as part of an Emergency Medicine team to improve outcomes for patients in a dynamic Emergency Department. In this role as anEmergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, the provider will work alongside EM Physicians, other EM APPs, and EM nurses and staff to take care ofpatients. Though APPs in this role will collaborate with and share all patients with physicians, autonomy is both encouraged and fostered. Our EM APPs will learn to manage acute conditions, in a diverse population of patients, with increasing independent expertise. Our providers are encouraged to practice at the top of their license. Although the focus of this role is primarily clinical, there will be Career Development opportunities with access to get involved in Education, Administration and Leadership.

APP post-graduate experience is preferred. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
1.Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
2.Licensed, or eligible, for North Carolina as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
3.Current BLS and ACLS, and ATLS certification preferred

Patient care requirements are coordinated with many medical centers throughout central North Carolina.
