Shift: Mon-Fri (any 4 days) 730a-5p 36 hrs./wk.


Job Description:
Registered Nurse who is looking to give life in an outpatient dialysis center. You can make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.


Roles and Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for performing perinatal and other diagnostic ultrasound exams while maintaining regulatory and professional ultrasound standards.
- This individual must exhibit strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize.
- A close working relationship with Maternal Fetal Care management, Radiology management, and medical staff is essential to maintain cost-effective and patient-focused care.
- This position is responsible to provide care for patients undergoing ultrasound procedures using approved workflows and procedural protocols for Maternal Fetal Care and Radiology.
- This individual must demonstrate a full knowledge of ultrasound equipment, structured reporting, and image management (PACS).
- Performs routine and special ultrasound examinations consistent with established protocols per MFM and Radiology.
- Demonstrates competency in performing and/or assisting in the following procedures: Chorionic Villi Sampling, Amniocentesis, Amnio-reduction, Fetal Doppler flow studies. Obtain and maintain additional certifications as determined by leadership (ex. Nuchal Translucency and CLEAR certification).
- Assumes responsibility for keeping informed about changes in policies and procedures.
- Participates in maintenance of American Institute of Ultrasound Accreditation; Consistently completes all exams and documentation in CHL, PACS, and OB/GYN reporting system.
- Consistently and accurately identifies all charges associated with exams.
- Addresses errors and resolves issues related to the final product being sent to PACS; Consistently demonstrates commitment to safe practices and Just Culture. Commitment to use Two for Two to accurately identify patients, follows procedures to avoid laterality errors, eliminates falls, and adheres to ALARA principles; Exemplary models using AIDET, service excellence, and service recovery; Required to be available to work in all clinical sites covered by department sonographers; Assists with patient transport as necessary.
