Job Description:

The role of the -Clinician -is to provide mental health services, as well as monitor and document clients' mental well-being and overall adjustment to the program. -Essential Functions

• Conduct intakes upon admission, clinical assessments, and crisis intervention -
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members and clients to develop service plans
• Provide one-to-one counseling sessions weekly -
• Conduct group counseling sessions weekly
• Continually monitor the mental well-being of clients and arrange for appropriate services as needed
• Provide consultation and documentation regarding clients' functioning, mental health status, and treatment needs
• Provide clinical services within licensing and funding source guidelines
• Conduct clinical assessments
• Conduct and document client assessments in accordance with ORR policies and procedures
• Report significant incidents within accordance with ORR policies and procedures
• Works closely with case manager and care coordinators to ensure proper communication
• Attend all required trainings
• Attend all departmental and program meetings to ensure that up-to-date information is received and/or information of policy changes or practice are adhered to
• Must assist in the evacuation of clients, as needed -
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work area
• Always ensure supervision of clients
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned -Knowledge and Skills
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to document processes and perform record keeping
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patience, tolerance, and kindness -
  • Prioritize and organize responsibilities and duties efficiently -
  • Work expertly either independently or as a member of a multi-disciplinary team -Education and Experience - -
    • Master's degree in social work with clinical experience in the program, -
    • or Master's degree in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement, -
    • or a bachelor's degree plus 5 years clinical employment experience
    • Ability to utilize evidence-based practices -
    • Encompass cases holistically to create individualized service plans and related techniques and interventions.
    • Licensed or license eligible in respective field (to include but not limited to: LPC, LCSA, LMFT, LAC, LMSW, LAMFT, and LASAC)
    • Required to work a flexible schedule to facilitate program needs
    • Must possess a valid state driver's license - -
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
