Job Description:

Overview: This position performs a variety of duties in the provision of quality care during the patient?s experience in Radiology. This position assists and supports the imaging staff in the completion of procedures. Talent Pool; Allied Health Responsibilities: Assists technologists to include CHL functions(minimum registration), PACS application and positioning patient for respective exam. Handles and appropriately directs all phone calls. May assist with making call reminders to patients for scheduled exams. Transports patients safely using Two for Two, Safe Lift techniques,hand hygiene, and PPE. Escorts outpatients. Uses Teletracking for patient transport. Cleans and stocks procedure rooms. Assists with QA/QC activities as directed. Greets patients and visitors using the AIDET Protocol. Qualifications: EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE: 1 year of related hospital experience, Preferred LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: REQUIRED BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider PREFERRED
