Charge Nurse Telemetry RN Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required Minimum Work Experience: Previous experience in acute care hospital setting preferred Typical Physical Demands: Requires full range of motion including handling and lifting patients and/or equipment, manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive period of time. May require lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. May require frequent bending, squatting and kneeling. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires ability to work under stressful conditions and/or irregular hours. Potential for exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
