If you have a background in foods and nutrition, public health, family and consumer sciences, or a related field, Cooperative Extension at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University wants to hear from you. We seek an Extension Associate for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Education Program (SNAP-Ed), who will assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for limited resource audiences. SNAP-Ed addresses problems of obesity, poor nutrition, and lack of access to healthy foods, especially in low-income populations. Must have a master's degree in a relevant field and at least three years of experience with program management and supervision in nutrition, health education, or other relevant community-based outreach program.
