Job Description:

Job Title: Director of Sales and Business DevelopmentSalary: $150,000 + 30% bonus & Car allowance Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a sales team focusing on:---Establishing sales and marketing strategies to manage a product or product category's life cycle---Compiling and evaluating research on the market's requirements (including trends and competitor offerings and capabilities)---Gathering unique insights through extensive market knowledge, positioning and capturing the value of innovations and enabling rapid marketplace validation and placement---Developing a value-based offering that creates sustainable advantage---Creating, monitoring, and revising plans to maintain a healthy and vibrant sales opportunity pipeline for future budget objectives---Exploring and validating growth opportunities in adjacent markets The key responsibilities include:---Plan and direct sales and develop new business opportunities within assigned areas to achieve financial objectives and market leadership in strategically selected markets---Set yearly sales goals and objectives with management team, measure, track and adjust as needed throughout the sales year---Develop relationships with strategic customers and engaged at the senior level---Promote and sell products, services and solutions directly to current and new customers---Work closely with development, manufacturing and support to meet\exceed customers' expectations---Recruit and expand sales force as needed in top priority markets and underdeveloped territories---Build sales volume through effective motivation, opportunities and prospect planning, execution and team leadership with our staff and independent agents---Set quarterly travel schedule and execute within established budget---Assist in the development of product launch initiatives and programs---Organize and conduct bi-annual sales meetings. ---Attend trade shows where necessary to strengthen brand profile and market presence. Requirement:---Bachelor's degree required ---Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in the Textile industry ---Sales leadership including opportunity/prospect planning and review---Experience leading a multimillion dollar business---Market knowledge and extensive network within the industry (Contract, Hospitality, Healthcare, Residential markets and A&D community)---Strong communication and presentation skills---Knowledgeable of yarn, fabric formation and textile finishing---Ability to travel 50%---Willing to relocate to North Carolina
