Job Description Facility Management & Office Services Intern: Become the Newest Member of the VF Corporation Family Are you interested in becoming part of a team that drives VF?s employee experience? VF?s Facilities & Office Services team is responsible for everything in the physical working environment except IT-related items. As part of VF?s Facility & Office Services team, you?ll gain valuable experience as you make a meaningful impact on the day-to-day operations of VF Corporation. In this role, you?ll improve processes and interact with team members across the company while managing multiple projects. How You Will Make a Difference: This is an opportunity for you to work as part of the Facilities & Office Services team and be exposed to all facets of facility management and operations at VF?s Corporate campus. Assignments may include: + Performing data collection, spreadsheet creation, and data analysis to inform decision-making for capital improvements; + Researching best practices for a specific aspect of facility management & operation, performing a gap analysis, and creating a plan to resolve the gap; + Reviewing agreements for facility operations and maintenance and coordinating vendor activities; + Working alongside our facilities management team with ongoing remodeling projects, including the restack of the west wing of our corporate facility. Skills for Success: Educational/ Position Requirements: + Currently enrolled in a program pursuing a Bachelor?s degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Space Planning, Facilities Management or related field. + General knowledge of building equipment and building systems is a plus. + Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Word). Experience with AutoCAD is a plus. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. + Strong attention to detail. Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: + Lifting up to 50 lbs on occasion.
