Job Snapshot: The Vice President of Operations will be accountable for building, training and sustaining the field leadership team in all areas of daily operations. They will lead the restaurants to meet guest satisfaction and financial performance goals while exhibiting the values of the company. Other areas of accountability will be to lead the strategy and design of field training materials, leadership development, and executes the field organization design for growth and new market entry.
Vice President of Operations responsibilities include: Developing Area Coaches whose primary focus is to develop people Ensuring a deep bench of talent for current and future growth Motivating, inspiring, and challenging the team to achieve at their highest level Creating a culture where people act according to the values of the company Ensuring that restaurants have excellent service, safety, cleanliness, organization and food quality Creating strong financial performance of restaurants Setting clear priorities for teams so they can focus on the most important things Building strong relationships with and positively influencing all departments of the company Strong command of language and general communication skills Strong supervisory and organizational skills Other assorted projects and responsibilities as needs arise. Do you have the right ingredients We’re looking for: A minimum of 10 years of progressive restaurant leadership experience required; ideally within a fast-paced, growing, quick-service concept. A Bachelor’s Degree in business, or related field required (or an equivalent combination of training and experience necessary to complete the responsibilities/ essential functions of the position is required). A reputation of effective leadership with a passion for inspiring others; setting clear, measurable objectives, delegating responsibility, recognizing outstanding performance, and correcting sub-par performance. Strong people development know-how with experience implementing training programs and providing input to inform the design of training content, structure and delivery. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; adept at coaching, delivering constructive feedback, resolving conflict and influencing desired outcomes. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving capability, with a demonstrated track record of making sound business decisions using data and statistics. Strategic planning experience; demonstrated ability to create and implement action plans and align resources to achieve desired organizational outcomes. A proven track record with P&L responsibility, budgeting and financial forecasting, guest service delivery, and people management. Proficient with restaurant technology, both front and back of house systems (i.e. point-of-sale systems, inventory management systems, labor/payroll management, drive-thru tracking, etc.). Experience in organization design and efficiency; strength in building cohesive, top-performing and customer-centric teams. Must have active and valid authorization to work in the U.S.A. Must possess a valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.
