Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition and Retention Manager - NC is a
mission-critical role for a motivated, engaging, collaborative
consensus-builder to execute a best-in-class employee experience
for all AMNB team members. This HR professional will be responsible
for all facets of talent management including the acquisition and
retention of top talent, employee recognition and relations,
performance management, federal and legal compliance, records
management, and talent analytics.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Partners with the CHRO to understand and execute the organization's
talent management strategy including full cycle talent acquisition
and retention strategies.
Works with CHRO and Director of Marketing to build a strong
employer brand to support the acquisition and retention of top
talent.
Manages the talent acquisition process which includes identifying
cutting-edge recruiting methods, pipeline building, candidate
selection, and providing interviewing training and ongoing support
for hiring managers while providing exceptional service and
quality, in a friendly and courteous manner, to all internal and
external customers (business partners).
Brings innovation to the talent acquisition process and provides a
top notch experience for candidates while driving diversity and
inclusion throughout the process.
Develops, analyzes and reports metrics used to drive success in the
acquisition and retention of top talent.
Organize and/or attend college and career fairs, both virtually and
in person.
Provides support and guidance to managers and other staff regarding
the administration and execution of talent management programs
including but not limited to disciplinary matters; disputes and
investigations; performance and talent management; productivity,
recognition, engagement and morale; workers compensation; total
rewards and employee development.
Researches and proposes competitive total rewards programs to
ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
Organizes and attends employee disciplinary meetings, terminations,
and investigations and other performance management or
employee-relations related meetings.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
and regulations, company policies and procedures and recommended
best practices.
Champions the Bank's values and models the Bank's commitment to
DE&I, providing a high-level of customer service to internal
business partners to ensure that AMNB is an employer of choice that
provides a superior employee experience.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes,
and new technologies in talent acquisition and retention, talent
management, DE&I and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven skill meeting
deadlines.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution
skills.
Demonstrated experience in a similar role requiring excellent
organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with
exceptional prioritization and delegation skills.
Experience in a role requiring incumbent to act with integrity,
professionalism, and confidentiality.
Experience working in a diverse and inclusive work culture that
focused on providing a positive employee experience, with a proven
track record in the acquisition and retention of diverse
talent.
Experienced in full-cycle recruiting and employment branding.
Possesses a sharp eye for talented people and a steady commitment
to help them find success in our company.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or
related field required.
A minimum of five years of human resource management experience
preferred.
SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR highly desired.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a
computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to access and navigate each branch or office and all
areas in each branch or office.
