We are currently searching for a Supervisor, Production Maintenance for our Operations facility located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Responsible for the management of analysis of costs, financial closings and financial reporting for the supply chain function (including Cayey and TDG cigar factories), including the impacts of transfer costs. This includes overseeing the preparation of budgets, tracking of operational/financial metrics, inventory tracking, variance forecasting and analysis, as well as project cost analysis and review with Operations and Financial Management. Ensures the application of generally accepted accounting principles in conjunction with internal financial policies and procedures. WHAT YOU WILL DO Duties and Responsibilities: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the Company)

  • Manages budgets, operational and financial standards, monthly variance forecasting/reporting, cost saving projects and review of financial results with supply chain and operations management.
  • Acts as the corporate focal point, consolidating the financial reporting and analytics from the MMC Factory Finance teams, including the analysis and explanation of trends, causes of change, initiatives and identification of risk/opportunities.
  • Support cost optimization efforts within the supply chain organization for FMC and MMC.
  • Focal point for the monthly financial close, analysis and forecast process for MMC factories.
  • Develops new methodologies to improve forecast accuracy
  • Implements appropriate control changes in line with the Supply Chain strategy initiatives
  • Coordinates communications between the headquarters and factory finance teams
  • Analyzes and communicates slow moving and obsolete stock to ensure that write offs are in line with our Corporate strategy and fiscal budget
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field of study
    • 5+ years related work experience
    • 1+ years supervisory/managerial experienceKnowledge of:
      • Intermediate to Advanced level Excel skills
      • Microsoft Office Professional or similar applicationSkilled in:
        • Verbal and written communication

            • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field of study
            • Accounting experience in a medium to large manufacturing environment
            • Experience in applicable financial software, including SAPLicenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
              • Fluency in SpanishWork Environment and Physical Demand:
                • Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (under 10 lbs.).
                • Walks, sits, or stands for prolonged periods.
