The Issue Manager (IM) is responsible for the oversight and management of their assigned issues portfolio in accordance with the requirements of the GT&O Risk Governance process. - The IM will coordinate with Front-Line Unit leadership and Control partners in performing risk evaluations of issue concerns identified, development of comprehensive resolution plans and issue oversight to ensure timely resolution. An IM will be required to interact with multiple levels of MVSO Leadership and partners within the Bank as part of their day to day routines for issue portfolio oversight
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Provide management oversight of assigned issue portfolio
--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Prepare and deliver weekly reporting to Issuer Resolution Leadership in regards to issue - performance, trends and risks
--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Coordinate with FLU Leadership and Control Partners (Legal, Risk, Compliance, EPOs, BCMR) for issue development, resolution and closure
--- - - - - - - - - - - - - Responsible to proactive identification and escalation of "At Risk" issues and/or roadblocks which occur during the Issue Management process which could affect timeliness or resolution.
Required skills:
* Experience in Mortgage Ops or Issue Management required
--- Strong business partnering capabilities (including ability to interact and communicate equally within multiple level of the organization)
--- Ability to handle multiple priorities
--- Strong attention to detail and high quality of work product(s)
--- Ability to navigate in a highly complex organization and operate effectively in changing environments
--- Excellent written and oral communication
--- Analytical abilities, problem solving, strong organization, ability to advocate for and influence others
Desired skills:
--- Previous Issue Management / Project Management
--- PMP Certification
--- Bachelors Degree, or higher, in related field
--- Strong functional knowledge within the Mortgage and Vehicle Servicing Operations space
Enterprise Description:
Provide analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within a LOB/ECF. Gather and organize data in order to monitor and test the effectiveness of key controls and status of mitigation and action plans. Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Incumbents typically have over 5+ years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience. May manage staff.
