Job Description:
Scope of Work: This position will lead the Business Development
team for the Diversity Consortium (DC). This position reports to
the President & COO of the Diversity Consortium. This position will
lead the Sales & Marketing, Public Relations and Marketing Teams as
well as the Partner Program business development activity. This
individual will have responsibility for the development and
management of the Sales Plan, processes, tools & systems to fulfill
partner engagements and company expectations. This position has a
general responsibility allocation of: * Business development
activities 75%, * Public Relations & Marketing support 15% *
Partner Sales Program management & Channel/Alliance ventures
facilitation 5% * Business management & processes development 5%. *
Job Responsibilities * Develop, manage and lead a team to execute
the Sales Plan & Business Development Annual Operating Plan *
Manage Partner Sales Plans via structured cadence * Support the
development of the Channel Partner Sales Plans * Sales Forecasted,
WIP & Internal Project Resources table maintenance * Maintain the
Collaborative Work Environment as it relates to notes, action
items, pipelines, resource forecasting, project estimating and
contract bookings along with weekly updates and monthly reporting *
Development & management of the financial forecast v actual *
Variance & Revenue info population in the Virtual Office (VO) *
Manage the Business Development Team task completion * Develop,
manage and lead a team to execute the Marketing Plan & Public
Relations Plan * Development & management of the SOP's & work
instructions for department * Management of assigned channel,
service & alliance partners * Complete the timely delivery of the
DC Business Development monthly report * Timely submittal of Time &
Expense Reporting Compensation Components Sales Commission: There
is a sales commission plan that pays up to 10% of the
secured/realized gross margin on the sales credit assigned in the
booking documents for each new program or platform. Commissions are
paid monthly and are broken into two components. The first
component is on secured sales and pays 75% of the earned
commissions. Due to the pricing of some Diversity Consortium deals,
commission values may be pre-established. Hourly work: There is an
hourly work component for BD team management, marketing management,
Client evaluation, Client execution and Client Program Management
Partner Management: * There is a referral fee commission plan that
pays up to 15% of the referral fees paid by assigned Partners.
Commissions are paid monthly. Qualifications and Experience *
Demonstrated success leading global corporate diversity efforts
from strategy development through to implementation * Strong
understanding of industry benchmarks, leading practices and
innovations in Diversity Equity & Inclusion * Exceptional
communication skills with the ability to architect and influence
the change management required in this area as a trusted advisor
and partner * Experience working closely and credibly with senior
executives, Boards, and management teams with empathy and
effectiveness to drive impact across the organization * Ability to
evolve organizational structures (policies, practices, procedures,
etc.) and culture * Creative thinker comfortable surfacing issues
and offering provocative and innovative solutions * Experience with
data gathering, analysis, and metric driven decision making * Must
