Job Description Job Description The Service Coordinator will be
responsible for scheduling, dispatching, and tracking mobile
service techs for repairs outside of the shop. Under general
supervision this person is responsible for duties including but not
limited to: Writing service repair orders for mobile service techs
as directed by service manager Schedule mobile repairs based on
geographic areas and technician abilities Follow up with service
techs to make sure appointments were kept and repairs were
successfully completed Follow up with customers to make sure they
are satisfied with the repairs Entering data into service repair
orders from technicians and making sure techs are following
warranty procedures Research all buses in our AOR for necessary
recalls, field campaigns, PSBs, and VONs and work with the parts
dept to assemble packages for the technicians Take incoming phone
calls for outside repairs and gathering necessary information for
repair orders to be generated Track outside techs and make sure
they are working efficiently and completing all jobs Update
customers on vehicle repair status and tech appointments by
communicating with customers in a professional, friendly, and
efficient manner Update the Company’s CRM tool (Pipeline) daily on
tech repair visits Track open RO’s for mobile techs to ensure
timely posting Call customers after delivery of new bus(es) to make
sure Customer is satisfied Minimum Requirements: A friendly and
helpful disposition. Knowledge of or mechanical inclination to
assist customers as repair order is initiated. Medium level
computer skills as person will be using Word, Excel, Outlook and
the company’s operating system (Procede). Ability to interact with
customers, to assess their needs, and to try and solve their needs
as part of excellent customer service. Ability to work
independently and with multiple other people including service
technicians, parts personnel, and managers. Ability to communicate
with Manufacturers’ personnel in the best interest of Carolina
Thomas. Ability to understand and follow oral and written
instructions. Graduation from high school required at a minimum and
the required skills, knowledge and abilities to perform this job.
Company is a drug and alcohol free workplace and random testing
requirements and procedures are utilized. Abilities Required: Must
be willing and able to communicate professionally and politely with
customers and technicians. Must be physically capable of operating
a computer for extended periods of time as well as learning
numerous mechanical functions and parts required. Must be able to
assess Standard Repair Times (SRT) properly to make sure company is
properly paid by all manufactures for work rendered. Company
