Job Description Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage designers and engineers to develop and evaluate site constraint analysis, including zoning, topography,environmental, soils Coordination and supervision of civil, environmental and survey services by Consultants, including development of scopes of services, contract management, and invoice review Manage project schedule and budgets Responsible for project compliance with all applicable AHJ requirements Engineer-of-Record for soil erosion & sediment control and stormwater plans, details and calculations for permit submittal to AHJ Direct Civil Designers and Engineers to prepare and revise site/civil plans and calculations Prepare revisions and responses to AHJ comments Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises Civil Designers and Engineers. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university Registered Professional Engineer Minimum eight (8) years relevant work experience Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience with design of PV projects (desired) Comfortable presenting to and interacting with consultants, authorities with jurisdiction, and regulatory agencies Ability to obtain out-of-state PE license(s) Physical Requirements/Work Environment: Work is performed in the office and in the field. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 20 pounds. May be exposed to weather elements when in the field. Limited out of town travel may be required.
