and MATLAB analysis tools, and ability to train others on these
tools Experience with Shock Grade B by analysis Strong knowledge of
material specifications and metallurgy, especially as they relate
to submarine requirements Job Description: ROLE AND POSITION
OBJECTIVES: As a mechanical analysis engineer for Undersea Mission
Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible
for the design and analysis of critical undersea hardware. We
encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or
experiences: Experience with ANSYS and MATLAB analysis tools, and
ability to train others on these tools Experience with Shock Grade
B by analysis Strong knowledge of material specifications and
metallurgy, especially as they relate to submarine requirements
Knowledge of weld types (MIL-STD-22) and processes (TP-1688 and
278) What sets you apart: Strong proficiency with modeling CAD
tools, especially Creo, to create mechanical models and drawings
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as
well as technical, government, and industry standards
Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex
projects Strong communication skills with ability to write
technical papers and proposals Commitment to ongoing professional
development for yourself and others 3rd party and subcontract
