If you have what it takes, call/email me at: / - Shaina Pasay Job Responsibilities: Wiring Harness Engineer has the mission to design & develop the wiring through concept phases up to serial production and maintenance while optimizing demands on quality, deliveries, cost and features (QDCF). Understanding of circuit functionality, vehicle functions, wiring harness development tools and processes will be important to achieve the mission. Key responsibilities: Design & optimize wiring harnesses Understanding wiring topology, architecture and utilize it for defining space claiming & wiring product installation solutions. Develop and implement complex electrical wiring harnesses including related routing and clipping solutions. Routing of harness/power cables in 3d environment using Creo. Driving design proposals/solutions cross functionally & secure agreements. Final design & development of WH (including clamping) through cooperation with stakeholders. Conduct design review with teams and suggest improvement through technical proposals. Design for assembly and service ability in close cooperation with Manufacturing and After Market. Supports wiring harness supplier with implementing and industrializing wiring harness designs for area of responsibility. Support Purchasing in the request for quotation: evaluation of technical solutions from the different suppliers. Wiring engineer has to work in close co-operation with multiple stakeholders- suppliers, systems engineering, system- and component owners, purchasing, manufacturing and aftermarket. Competence: Wiring Harness product knowledge Wiring design tools knowledge, Saber knowledge advantage but not necessary. Wiring Harness routing in Creo-essential skill. Truck Environment & Product knowledge. Automotive, Military, Commercial Vehicle engineering experience is an advantage Knowledge of development processes for wiring harnesses SAE, IEEE, and Mil standards Good communication and networking skills Problem solving skills Result oriented Accountable & structured Proactive mindset 6-10 years of experience Bachelor/Masters of Technology/Engineering in electrical/mechanical domain.
