Honda Aircraft Company Description About the Opportunity:
This position is for an engineer that will perform tasks including
Harness Routing, Harness
Installation and Electrical Equipment Installation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Background and demonstrated ability is required in the technical
areas listed below.
Generates Engineering Models and Installation Drawings utilizing
CATIA Version 5
Performs trade studies to identify optimal engineering
solution.
Collaborates with the Integrated Product Team to resolve cross
functional issues.
Reviews work performed by others and ensure work is to the highest
standard.
Implements Industry best engineering practices (design for
manufacturing, design for reliability and design for
maintainability).
Have the ability to understand and apply certification
requirements.
Implement design solutions optimized for cost and weight.
Manages task execution to ensure on-time and on-target
completion.
Searches for problem root cause and develop corrective action plans
and solutions.
Qualifications Who You Are:
8 years of applicable industry related work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge with Teamcenter or equivalent PLM system
Knowledge of aircraft zonal requirements
Familiarity with electrical/avionics equipment installation
practices and design
Familiarity with wire harness design smart tools such as IGE-XAO
SEE Electrical
Expert or Mentor Graphics is desired
