Basic Qualifications

Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As the Engineering Technician, you'll support engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, configuration of prototype electro mechanical systems and testing of specialized equipment.

  • Constructs, modifies, debugs, troubleshoots, calibrates, integrates, and tests a variety of tools, equipment and systems
  • Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems
  • Calibration and alignment checks
  • Interprets basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics
  • Construct, modify, debug, test and adjust a variety of tools and equipment given appropriate drawings, parts and instructions
  • Implement basic practical solutions for process improvement
  • Conduct and document test procedures and results under guidance of test engineer
  • Construct basis tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks
  • Organize data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommends resolution/process improvement
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of computer and network hardware
  • Works with control systems for the operation of complex machinery
  • Effectively configures, builds and tests data acquisition equipment, applicable sensors and cables
  • Completes and logs daily pre and post inspection check lists, along with weekly and monthly preventative maintenance inspections of hydraulic equipmentWhat you'll experience:

          Target salary range: USD $23.94/Hr. - USD $25.67/Hr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. Company Overview
