Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Degree in Physical Therapy,
active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic opportunity is
available for a Physical Therapist to provide specialized services
across multiple K-12 schools within the Research Triangle area of
North Carolina. This contract position spans the current school
year, offering full-time hours to serve a diverse student
population within elementary, middle, and high school settings. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver physical therapy interventions to a
caseload of approximately 30-40 students, addressing varied needs
and developmental stages. - Coordinate treatment sessions across an
assigned cluster of approximately 5-9 schools, adjusting visit
frequency as per school requirements. - Collaborate with
educational teams to support student progress aligned with
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). - Manage scheduling in
accordance with school bell times: elementary (7:45 AM2:15 PM),
middle (8:30 AM3:15 PM), and high school (9:15 AM4:15 PM). -
Maintain thorough documentation and adherence to district policies
and licensure standards. Qualifications/Desired Experience: -
Active Physical Therapist license. - Experience working as a PT
within school settings is required. - Ability to adapt to changing
district needs and caseload dynamics. - Strong communication and
teamwork skills for effective collaboration with educators and
families. Location: - On-site work primarily centralized within
North-Central Durham schools in the Research Triangle, NC. Benefits
