Overview: $13/Hour FEAR is waiting for you! Carowinds is
searching high and low for the creepiest scare actors this side of
the grave to join the Carolinas' largest Halloween event! Show us
your drop-dead talent and prowl our midways with your fellow
undead. Our unique interview styleoffers plenty of opportunities
for you to scare us out of our wits—if you've got it, Haunt
it!Candidates must be energetic, dedicated, exercise good judgment
and remain safety conscious at all times. You'll also: - Scare
without touching by using the element of surprise where applicable.
- Entertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the
personality of the specific character through hand/body movements
and strong vocalization where applicable. - Develop gestures and
movements unique to the character. - Wear complete costume
provided. Do not switch costume pieces (including masks) with other

Positions are currently available for those who are 16 or older.

Qualifications: - You! - People who love helping others and will
support the needs of our guests and associates. - Good judgement
and a commitment to safety. - Ability to work and interact with
people from diverse backgrounds. - Individuals with a passion and
excitement about Carowinds. - Ability to demonstrate strong vocal
tones & basic acting ability. - Ability to scream and speak before
large groups of people. - Ability to maintain a calm demeanor
during emotionally charged situations. - Ability to wear costumes
with masks, and/or heavy make-up. - Ability to work in a dark or
poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog. -
Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and
holidays.
