Description Seeking an experienced Utility Superintendent with a strong background in utilities and piping installation to oversee civil construction projects in the Greensbboro area. This role is pivotal in ensuring successful project execution from start to finish, with a focus on underground utilities, piping systems, and overall site development. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight: Manage onsite operations for assigned construction projects from groundbreaking through project closeout. Plan Interpretation: Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, permits, and layouts to guide project execution. Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Manager, General Superintendent, and senior leadership to ensure project goals are met. Subcontractor Management: Supervise and coordinate multiple subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project timelines and quality standards. Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain consistent communication with clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Technical Coordination: Partner with engineers, environmental consultants, and other key stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure compliance with project requirements. Safety Compliance: Enforce company safety policies and ensure all activities adhere to OSHA standards and industry best practices. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, safety records, and subcontractor performance logs.
