Job Description Job Description About the Role: The Clubhouse Handyman plays an important role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the Clubhouse and surrounding facilities (pro shop, pool house). This position ensures that all repair and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard, contributing to a welcoming and well-kept environment for members and guests. The handyman will be responsible for identifying maintenance needs, performing routine inspections, and addressing issues promptly to prevent larger problems. This role requires a proactive approach to upkeep, including both scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs. Ultimately, the Clubhouse Handyman supports the overall operational excellence of the Clubhouse and other buildings by ensuring all physical aspects are in optimal condition. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in general maintenance and repair work, preferably in a clubhouse, residential, or commercial setting. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or training in a relevant trade such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC. Experience working in a clubhouse, hospitality, or recreational facility environment. Familiarity with safety standards and building codes. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Ability to communicate with management. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Club facilities, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and basic maintenance of HVAC systems. Conduct regular inspections of the clubhouse and surrounding areas to identify potential issues and address them proactively. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and materials used. Coordinate with the General Manager when specialized repairs or services are required, working with selected vendors to ensure repairs are completed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and clubhouse policies during all maintenance activities. Assist with setup and breakdown of clubhouse events as needed, including moving furniture and equipment. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an unrestricted basis now and in the future.
