Surgery Scheduler Very busy medical office in Matthews is seeking a polished, professional individual that always maintains a high level of customer service to each and every patient. Hours 8:30a-5:30p, M-F. Temp to perm. $20/hour. Responsibilities: Surgery Scheduling Input cases into centers scheduling system Verify Benefits - works with patients and insurance companies with billing explanations Communicates with patients, physician offices, insurance companies, staff, surgeons and external contractors Works directly with patients over the phone and in person Relief Receptionist Meets, greets and checks in patients, staff, physicians and visitors Chart preparation Answering phones Requirements: 3 years of prior Medical Procedure scheduling required - experience scheduling surgeries in at a hospital, scheduling MRI's, CAT Scans etc. High School Diploma Detail oriented Knowledgeable of health insurance Good communication and people skills is a must Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
