POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT LICENSURE SPECIALIST The North Carolina
Board of Nursing is seeking applicants for the Licensure Specialist
position. The Licensure Specialist is responsible for supporting
the licensure and renewal processes for nurses in North Carolina.
This role ensures timely and accurate processing of applications,
verifies compliance with licensure requirements, and provides
excellent customer service to applicants, licensees, and the
public. Applicants must possess strong verbal and written
communication skills and the ability to deal courteously and
professionally with the public in a prompt and efficient manner.
Position functions independently; applicants must be able to
organize work efficiently; demonstrate attention to details; and
work well in a multi-functional team environment. Applicants must
possess strong critical thinking, sound judgment and
decision-making skills. Position requires proficiency in use of PC;
strong word/data processing skills and ability to learn custom
software. Education and Experience: Position requires an Associate
Degree and 2 years of client service, public contact experience; or
equivalent combination of education/experience. Prior experience in
