Job Description:
Banyan Search is helping an exceptional client in their search
for a Staff Accountant / Analyst. The Staff Accountant will support
and analyze project accounting for this large, growing corporation
in a construction-oriented industry. Position Overview The Staff
Accountant / Analyst will support financial reporting and project
analysis activities. This role collaborates with finance and
operations teams to enhance reporting capabilities and participate
in month-end close processes. The position offers strong visibility
with leadership and opportunities for professional growth. Key
Responsibilities Provide financial analysis and reporting support
for project operations Support month-end close activities,
including revenue accruals and cost processing Analyze project
financial performance and identify key drivers Assess revenue risk
and prepare appropriate financial reserves Respond to requests for
financial data and analysis from internal stakeholders Assist with
audit support and documentation Review and process contract budgets
and rate testing Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve
financial discrepancies Contribute to process improvement
initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
Finance, or related field 2 years of relevant experience in
accounting, financial analysis or project accounting Advanced
proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to meet strict deadlines in a team
environment Self-motivated with strong initiative Our client offers
