impact. Join us! In this role, candidates will lead the management
of risk for up to two Technology Executives by partnering with the
leadership and their teams to apply subject matter expertise to
support a culture of risk identification, escalation and timely
mitigation of compliance and operational risks. Candidates will be
responsible to solve problems analytically by applying a mixture of
risk and technology expertise to perform impact assessments,
identify root causes in support of the technology control
activities, and drive risk reduction in the respective technology
teams. They will be responsible to monitor the health of audit
issues through their lifecycle, including action plan development
and validation through approval reviews. The role requires strong
communication and leadership skills, candidates are required to
drive collaboration with teammates across organizations
(Technology, Operations, Audit, GIS etc.) and with the management
team to identify opportunities to improve control and reduce risk.
The role is aligned to critical Risk and Regulatory work with
senior internal and external constituents and stakeholders.
Responsibilities: Leads the assessment of the design and
effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client
Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide
standards Performs monitoring and testing of controls, identifying
issues and control improvements for remediation Leads the
implementation of optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance
(QA) practices to support business continuity efforts Manages the
performance and productivity of team members that conduct quality
inspection reviews Ensures timely execution of QA activities
including control execution, case management, and results reporting
Manages and reviews all operations front line unit responses for
regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and
inspection reviews Ensures accuracy of data and that relevant
information is captured for inspection metrics to support
governance for dashboard reporting Required Qualifications: 5 years
of relevant work experience in technology with some applied within
financial services or risk 3 years of professional domain expertise
in a technical discipline, such as data management, artificial
intelligence and/or information security Communicates complex
technical subject matter into clear, concise language suited for
various audiences ranging from executives to junior analysts
Demonstrated increasing levels of accountability and ownership
Demonstrated ability to operate as a change ambassador by
advocating and embracing change across diverse stakeholders groups
Strong collaboration and partnering skills with ability to
positively influence and motivate teams Comfortable with ambiguous
situations capable of analyzing, simplifying and collaborating to
solve complex problems Strategic thinker, self-starter, organized,
versatile, and capable of performing work with minimal management
oversight Ability to coordinate and drive execution of priorities
