Job Description Job Description We are looking for a meticulous
and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team in
Covington, Louisiana. This contract-to-permanent position offers an
opportunity to contribute to key financial processes, ensuring
accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations. The role is ideal

Responsibilities: • Prepare and analyze journal entries to ensure
accurate and timely financial reporting. • Reconcile general ledger
accounts and support month-end and year-end closing activities. •
Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and
collections, to maintain cash flow. • Process and accurately code
vendor invoices in compliance with company policies. • Collaborate
with external vendors to address and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Handle corporate tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with
relevant regulations. • Assist in preparing financial reports and
provide insights for organizational decision-making. • Identify
opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to
enhance accounting efficiency. • Coordinate with team members to
ensure deadlines for accounting tasks are consistently met. •
Provide necessary documentation and support during audits to ensure
compliance.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related
field is preferred. • Demonstrated expertise in accounts receivable
processes, including billing and collections. • Proficiency in
coding and processing vendor invoices accurately and efficiently. •
Experience working with external vendors to address invoice-related
issues. • Strong skills in financial reporting and analysis to
support strategic decisions. • Exceptional attention to detail and
ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent
organizational and communication skills for collaboration with
internal teams and external partners. • Familiarity with month-end
close, general ledger management, journal entries, and
reconciliations.
