Job Description:
At Resideo, we are actively seeking an experienced professional
to join our team in a newly created role as the Finance Compliance
Manager. This role will be instrumental in advising management on
compliance matters inclusive of supporting internal processes and
controls to align with Sarbanes-Oxley, statutory audits, and other
regulatory reporting requirements. This critical role involves
managing programs across the organization while delivering
high-impact insights to senior leadership while supporting the
effectiveness of risk frameworks, governance, and processes. Job
Duties: Coordinate and monitor global execution of key compliance
initiatives related to SOX, statutory audit, ESG, and government
reporting. Serve as subject matter expert for all regions on best
practices for financial compliance. Support policy development and
deployment. Identify opportunities and execute initiatives to
standardize global processes. On-going monitoring and continuous
improvement of controls and processes, including the continued
evaluation and enhancement of tools and technology. Lead internal
assessments of finance and accounting activities performed by
internal resources and third-party service providers. Assist
management in the design and implementation of effective process
and controls related to new regulatory reporting requirements.
Assist Internal Audit, External Audit and Statutory Audit teams in
efforts to identify and remediate financial risks. Builds our
capabilities to meet all regulatory reporting requirements
globally. Assist teams in building and/or optimizing data and
process flows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as
Investor Relations, Legal, Human Resources and Operations subject
matter teams. Trains key personnel on reporting processes,
controls, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
You Must Have: 7 years of experience in accounting, financial
reporting and/or internal controls. 3 years of experience in
project management and exposure to external audit and regulators.
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley, Financial Reporting, US GAAP, IFRS,
ESG, Tax Compliance and/or other regulatory compliance matters
Experience in building and improving well-controlled (SOX
compliant) processes leveraging technology that scales globally. We
Value: Experience in building and leading high-performing and
diverse global teams. Relevant professional certifications such as
CPA, CFA, PMP or equivalent are a plus. Big 4 experience is a plus.
Experience navigating big ERP and financial reporting tools
Exposure to working in a multinational setting, navigating diverse
business landscapes and cultures. Established business acumen,
communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Exhibited
capacity to drive change and exert influence on decision-making
processes to enhance organizational performance and efficacy.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal proficiencies,
facilitating effective engagement with senior management and
